Today has been absolutely gorgeous here. Not too hot. A nice little breeze. Perfect. MB and I hit the trails with the pup and hiked the 0.7 mile Lifecourse trail. It's a great little trail that has exercise/stretching stations throughout the wooded path that winds up and down a hill. It's beautiful and challenging. MB and I actually used to run on that trail a couple years ago and decided today that we'd like to again. We are both out of shape but were very proud that we tackled the Lifecourse with only minimal huffing and puffing. Yay us.

It's the start of a new week. I'm really looking forward to a loss this week. I'm also looking forward to exercising this week. Weird thing to hear from me, huh? But, I'm serious. I'm ready to move my fat ass this week. I've been feeling really good about myself lately since clothes are loosening up a little and I've gotten a couple compliments.
Oh. Didn't I tell you? I got an unsolicited compliment. It was from the guy at the Indian restaurant (we went on Tuesday and I totally didn't post it, oops). He randomly commented that it looks like I've been losing weight. I was grinning like a fool all day!
Anyweigh, on with the food journal for today.

It's that time again.
I'm happy to say that I lost 2.2 this week, putting me back at 195.2. This was my weight prior to vacation week. So, I actually just lost the weight I had gained while on vacation.
I'm okay with that. I expected a gain while on vacation and expected to be losing that gain this week. I was kinda hoping to lose more than that though.
I know that I have been struggling this week - not tracking daily, not saying no, not really feeling motivated.
My biggest obstacle is support. There is a strong support network here on the interwebs and I love that (thank you, peeps). However, there isn't a really strong support system in my actual life.
I've tried connecting with the people in my life who are on their own weight loss journeys. Seems reasonable, right? Not so much. They all seem to be in it for themselves. Which I totally get. However, I need to move on. Selfish doesn't work for me in this process. I need to find people in my life who will actually be supportive. This may take awhile.
Maybe it's just me. I'm not feeling the love.
