I feel pretty good about my meals for the next several days. I have some very healthy things planned. It's nice to feel like I have some control again after the holiday bingefest.
If I can just get back on track with the exercise, I'd be doing great. It's just so darn cold outside! It makes me lose all motivation.
I'll get there though.

Eats for Friday 1/7/11

I had high hopes for today. I was going to sleep. Then sleep. Then sleep some more. Maybe watch some movies. Then sleep some more.
Of course, the pup woke me up early-ish, so I was up. Then, MB came home from his 24hour shift and I napped a little with him. Then, I had to give in and go to the grocery store because we had no food in our house.
(sigh)
Then, MB and I decided to go get Indian food for dinner. I didn't do too badly. I stuck with the spinach dish instead of some of the heavier options. They actually forgot to put my white rice in the bag, so that allowed me to avoid a few points!
It must've been fate!

Eats for Thursday 1/6/11

So, I tried to sleep in today so as to knock the plague out of my system before it takes over. My pup had different plans. She wanted to go play outside. It's her thing. When it's super cold outside, she likes to go run around outside and explore the yard. I had already let her out to pee so when she came and shoved her wet nose into my sleeping face, I knew it was to go out and play.
I tried to put her off as long as I could. Telling her 'NO' and 'Mommy's sick' but it was useless. She kept running from the sliding glass door through the house and back to my face, with her little toenails tapping on the floor the whole time. Then she would pounce on my face as I kept ignoring her to really make her point. I finally had to get up because I thought she might pounce me to death.
Plus, who can resist this face?


That wasn't about my eats at all. They were....meh. I'll do better tomorrow.

I did pretty good today. My plan for dinner was to make risotto with mushrooms and sauteed cabbage. However, there was no broth for the risotto and MB ate all the cabbage.
Plus, I was starting to get that plague like illness that is going around and I felt like crap. So, pizza it was!
The risotto will be for another day. Mmmm. Risotto.

194.2 I gained, of course. I've also gained back most of the weight that I worked so hard to lose.

(sigh)

It's okay though.

It's not the end of the world. I can come back from this. I will come back from this. I will make this right.

I've been feeling like absolute crap lately and that's enough motivation for me to get back on track.

Also, as if I needed any additional motivation, I had another little push in the form of a facebook picture. A friend posted her wedding pictures and there was one of MB and I. I have no intention of posting it here. I will show you exactly what I looked like though..


No exaggeration. Not much anyway.

Did you know that once all of your chins are out there on facebook, you can never get them back. Unless you know how to hack your way into the wedding photographer's website so you can make that one particularly chintastic picture 'disappear'.

Yeah. I don't know how to do that.

Guess I'll just have to learn how to suck in my chin fat until I get my fat ass in shape again.
