I'm just going to pretend like I didn't embarrass myself with the last post and the revealing of The Incidents.
Let's continue with the eats, shall we?
Surprise, surprise...I ate Indian food today. You'll see it again tomorrow because I have leftovers. This is becoming a problem.

So, I was craving something sweet today. Specifically, cake.
MB was away at work and I was left unsupervised, which is always a bad thing.
Remember the Slim a Bear incident?
Yeah.
Obviously I have a problem.
If left unsupervised, I think it is perfectly reasonable to bake an entire cake knowing that I am the only person to eat it. I also think it's perfectly reasonable to hide any evidence of cake-baking from MB and then choose to come clean about it on the blog that MB reads. Genius.
You can go read about The Cake Incident if you dare. I'll wait.
Are we still friends?

I have a little catching up to do, so bear with me.
Did you know that Olive Garden's salad is the devil?
I didn't.
You would think it would be pretty low in points. The dressing seems pretty light and it's all pretty much lettuce. Maybe a few croutons.
It's 8 points per serving! 26 grams of fat.
Holy fat cow!
If you skip the dressing, it's 2 pts per serving with only 3.5 grams of fat. What a difference! This is straight from the OG website too, so you know it's all factual and whatnot.
The pasta fagioli soup is only 2 points per serving.
Unfortunately the website doesn't specify how much a serving is. I can only assume that a serving is what they serve you. Makes sense, right?
I have nothing to compare it to, so it's what I have to go with for now. If you have any secret inside info, please spill.

Weigh in.
Weigh in day!
I was supposed to post this yesterday, but I never got around to it. Oops.
So, I gained. 1 pound.
I'm not really sure what happened. I feel like I did a pretty good job of staying on track this week. Of course, TOM did return for a second visit this month so there was the whole bloat thing he brings with him.
That could be part of it.
It could also be the fat free ice cream that was in my house this week. Although it's only 1 point per serving, I can't say that my servings were completely true to size. I am a bit of a dessert addict, after all.
Part of that addiction is that if it's in my house, I have to eat it. I can't resist it. Sadly, my tub of fat free ice cream only lasted a few days. It's probably best that I just avoid putting that kind of stuff in my house altogether.
I'll do better this week.
My goals for the week are the same as every week. Stay on track with my meals. Post my eats daily. Try to incorporate some exercise (other than snow shoveling!). Avoid putting any ice cream, cake or other such sweets in the house, even if they are fat free. The temptation is just too much for my weak, weak self control.
I'm still trying to find my motivation to exercise. All the snow and ice on the ground are making me not want to get out there. All I need is a couple days of moving my fat ass and I'll get back into it. Maybe I'll start with some wii this week and see if that gets me back in the moving mood.
How are you guys doing?
Also, welcome to my new followers! I love seeing new faces around here. :)
Eats for Monday 1/31/11
I have to tell you about the coolest thing I've found at the grocery store in a long time.
So, I'm on day shift this week at work, so I needed to buy breakfasts that I could pack. I got some whole grain wheat mini bagels...
Yum.
Then, I was off to find some cream cheese. I found this...
Weight Watchers brand cream cheese.
It was on sale for 99cents. With my coupon for 75 cents off, it was 24 cents.
That's right. 24 cents.
I'm a grocery store ninja!
The best part?
This...
The package has lines on it to separate out the 2 tbsp portions.
So cool!
I heart it big time.
It makes portioning so easy. I sliced off my 2 tbsp portion and then sliced that in half to use only 1 tbsp.
That's all you really need for a mini bagel anyway.
Easy as pie.
Thank you Weight Watchers.

Eats for Saturday 1/29/11
I was all snuggled in my bed this morning, sleeping in when MB came in and woke me up. He thought I would want to know that the boys were coming over in about an hour or so to play nerd games.
(sigh)
So much for me staying braless in my pajamas all day.
Whatever.
I took all my stuff to the man cave downstairs and watched netflix while they did their nerd stuff upstairs. I started to get hungry around 5 so I resurfaced. I did some grocery shopping and then made myself a tortilla pizza. It was pretty good.
I also bought some fat free ice cream. Bryer's fat free chocolate fudge brownie. 1 point for 1/2 cup. Not too bad. Of course, I was craving a sundae, so I drizzled some melted peanut butter over mine.
It. was. delish.
