Eats for Saturday 8/28

MB and I attended a wedding. With open bar. That presents a huge challenge for a beer lover like myself. MB was faced with similar challenges as a beer lover himself. He was my designated driver. Poor guy was bored out of his mind as he watched me throw some back.
Aside from the beer, we ate pretty well. The meal was pretty healthy. If I wasn't so insecure about shaking my fat ass in public, I would've earned some activity points dancing. However, I am super insecure and was not drunk enough to let go of that insecurity. So, no activity points were earned.
Stupid insecurity. Grrr.

*The wedding was at 2:30pm and I had to run errands beforehand so I didn't really get a chance to eat a full lunch.

Dinner:
salad with strawberries, walnuts and vinagrette of some sort, 2 pts - 19
1 crab cake, 2 pts - 17
4 oz steak, trimmed of fat, 5 pts - 12
asparagus (that was very poorly cooked and mushy - ewww), 0 pts - 12
potatoes, 1 pt - 11
water, 0 pts - 11
Yuengling, 5 6 oz glasses, 9 pts - 2

Thought for the day:
Never serve asparagus at a wedding or large event where multiple guests will be using the bathroom. It smells funny. (teeheehee)

  1. First off, ewwwww on the asparagus. LOL! I've never enjoyed beer, so I can only imagine the lure of an open bar. Overall, I think you did a great job. Keep it up! :)

    Open bar = my favourite thing, ever. I just had to say it... again.
