Come visit me at Girly Bitz. It's my other interweb hangout.

Weigh in day.

I'm down by 0.2 pounds. Woohoo!

I really expected a gain this week because I haven't tracked a damn thing. A loss of any size is definitely a thing to celebrate.

It hasn't been a horrible week for me though. I watched my portions and tried to make good decisions at every meal. I also walked with the pup a couple times and walked the trails with MB and the pup once. Not too bad.

I did have a little motivation shoved into my face in the form of wedding dress overload. The thought of shoving my fat ass into a wedding gown is definitely enough to get me back on track.

I also found this little bargain of a dress while out shopping over the weekend. I have a friend's wedding coming up and thought it might be a cute dress for the event. I've already been told to try a minimizer because my boobs look HUGE in this dress. Not in a good way.

So, what do you think? Is it a keeper? Honest opinions. Don't worry. I can take it.

  1. I think I would look for something with a different shape on top. Maybe a button down v-shape?

  2. I have to agree with Mama Bear June. I think that when you have big boobs, a high neckline is not the most flattering because one needs to show some skin to break up the vast expanse of boobage so to speak. The dress *is* cute but with it having long sleeves and being one solid colour, that also contributes to the 'holy crap, all I can notice is boobs' effect :-)!

I'm not as well endowed but I think I'm shorter so at times I can appear all boobs and it took me years to realise that I generally need a neckline well below my collar bones. It doesn't have to be so low you're showing your belly button as well but showing a bit of chest is the way to go (IMHO of course!)

  3. I agree with the above ladies. Your "girls" look huge in that dress! I have that problem myself and square necklines are hard to find, but my fav...Very flattering. Otherwise, I really like V-necks.

The criss-crosses on the waistline look nice though. That part of the dress if very flattering.

On a side note, grats on the loss! Keep it up with making good decisions!
